Etude Easy Brow Pencil Review and Swatches

Happy Sunday DDG, today i want to give you a review about Etude Easy Brow Pencil. It is a soft wax eyebrow pencil, comes with four different colors - #1 Dark Brown, #2 Brown, #3 Black (if i am not mistaken), #4 Dark Gray- but i only got 3 colors to show you.

The texture of this product is smooth which enables you to either precisely fill in your eyebrows or create subtle hair-like stroke. Drawing eyebrow can be tricky sometimes but now with this pencil, everything becomes more easy because you can control how natural or dark you want your eyebrows to look. The packaging is gurrrlie, as you can see it is wrapped by metallic pink cover. It is two in one product which has pencil on the one side (for eyebrow application) and brush on the other side (helps you to tidy up your eyebrow and blend the product as well). Here are the color swatches:

#2 is the lightest color which is brown - a light brown - suitable for you with blonde or light brown hair - i use this shade because it looks natural on me since it is matched with my hair color
#1 is dark brown - a reddish brown (not as reddish as Viva) - ideal for those with reddish brown or dark brown hair
#3 is dark gray - it looks like black on eyebrow so it is perfect for you with black hair

This product is not easily smudged and long-lasting.

Price
KRW 2500

Pros
  • Cheap
  • Easy to blend
  • Ideal for traveling - you do not need to bring eyebrows brush
  • It gives a natural look eyebrows
  • Long-lasting
  • Smudgeproof

Cons
  • The brush is stiff
  • Limited color choices

Conclusion
Etude Easy Brow Pencil is cheap, long-lasting product, easy to bring, easy to use, smudgeproof, and does not irritate the eyebrows or the eyes makes it a good product to try especially for those who are on budget.

Black Long Lasting Eyeliner Pencil

I am sure most of you DDG wear eyeliner for everyday use and you can not go wrong with black color, you can wear it from day to night, either to create natural or dramatic look. It will look absolutely stunning.

There are various types of eyeliner from pencil to liquid and cream. If you are not used to apply make up by yourself or you do not have much time to do it, I suggest you to use pencil eyeliner. It is easy, fast and you do not even need an application tool to use it. There are two options of the pencil eyeliner, one is the most common form which is made from wood and the other one is retractable.

Let me show you some of drug store products that I ever tried:

Regular eyeliner (Left), Retractable eyeliner (Right)

  Before after smudge

I wore those eyeliners one by one (in my upper and lower lash line) all day. To show you how pigmented and how fade they are, I applied them on my hand and rubbed them back and forth and as you can see, the color of regular pencils eyeliner are grey-black, not black-black. Whereas the retractable color are more pigmented and tend to be creamier in formula, making them easier to apply, but causing them to fade slightly more quickly than the regular one.

I found that PAC and Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner are long lasting. If you are looking for bold color, you can go for Revlon, but if you like something which is not really black-black, PAC is the best choice.
