NYX Retractable Eye Liner Review and Swatches

Lately i played with NYX products, now i would like to give you a review and swatches of one of their eyeliner collections which is NYX Retractable Eye Liner. Check it out... ;)

Product information

Packaging

It is 0.01 oz or 0.31 g twist up tube. Some of retractable pencils can not go back inside after you twist it out, but this one can. Each color of the eyeliner in this collection comes in different color of packaging. The packaging color represents the color of the eyeliner itself, makes it easy to find.

Texture

It is creamy in formula. It glides on smoothly and highly pigmented. It is possible to be smudged before it dries up but it is not a perfect product to create a smokey look with.

Application

During the application, try to not press the pencil too hard because it can cause a little dragging over the skin. If you have eyes like mine whose upper lash lines stick to the eyelids when your eyes are opened, then do not blink before the product really sets. Wait a few second till it dries up. It stays put quite well with primer as a base. Without primer it does transfer especially on the outer corner of the eyes and on the waterline area. This product rubs off with water, so my suggestion is avoiding the waterline area in order to remain intact.

Considering to its price and performance, NYX Retractable Eye Liner is worth trying product. If you are a kind of person who does not have time to wear eyeshadow for daily use, you can rock your look by applying this eyeliner without wasting too much times.

Kemasan
Ini adalah tube yang bisa diputar berisi 0.01 oz atau 0,31 gr. Beberapa pensil yang produknya bisa diputar tidak bisa masuk kembali ke dalam setelah kamu memutarnya keluar, tapi produk yang satu ini bisa. Setiap warna eyeliner dari koleksi ini hadir dalam kemasan dengan warna yang berbeda. Warna kemasan mewakili warna eyeliner itu sendiri, membuatnya mudah untuk ditemukan.

Teksture

Formulanya krim. Produk ini mudah diaplikasikan dan sangat berpigmen. Bisa di-smudge sebelum mengering tetapi bukanlah produk yang tepat untuk menciptakan tampilan smokey.

Pemakaian

Selama proses aplikasi, cobalah untuk tidak menekan pensil terlalu kuat karena dapat menyebabkan sedikit "geseran" di kulit. Jika kamu memiliki mata seperti mata saya dimana garis bulu mata atasnya menempel pada kelopak mata ketika mata kamu terbuka, maka janganlah berkedip sebelum produk benar-benar menempel. Tunggu beberapa detik sampai produk mengering. Produk menempel cukup baik bersama primer sebagai alas. Tanpa primer produk akan bergeser/beleber terutama pada sudut luar mata dan di daerah waterline. Produk ini hilang apabila tergesek dengan air, jadi saran saya sebaiknya hindari pemakaian pada daerah waterline agar product tetap utuh.

Kesimpulan

Mempertimbangkan harga dan kinerjanya, NYX Retractable Eye Liner adalah produk yang layak untuk dicoba. Jika kamu adalah tipe orang yang tidak punya waktu untuk memakai eyeshadow setiap hari. Kamu bisa menguncang penampilan kamu dengan memakai eye liner ini tanpa membuang banyak waktu.

Sephora Highlighting Compact Powder Doré/Golden Review and Swatch

Today I am going to do just a quick review of Sephora Highlighting Compact Powder Doré/Golden. What is it? It is a warm toned, light gold sheen highlighting powder which has baby powder scent on it and packaged in transparent sleek compact. Its smooth and easy to blend texture provides sheer coverage with a nice glow without chunky glitter. This shade complements light medium to tan skin beautifully, and leaves behind a gorgeous glow and sexy look. 

For a sheer application, you can use a fan brush. If you want to create a sharp highlight finish, apply this product with a tapered brush. Light up your features such as cheekbones, eyebrow bones, corners of the eyes, bridge of the nose, and also cupid’s bow to be a center of attention.

I bought this product in Sephora Singapore as we do not have Sephora in Indonesia yet and I forget how much it was. As I remember it was not pricey. Well, you can directly check the price on their website.

• As a highlighter, it might look orange in fair skin (but you can use it as a bronzer)

Overall, according to its performance, I can say it is a nice product. If you are looking for a highlighter which can give a natural healthy glow without oversparkled, then get this one but if you prefer a fragrance free product then do not.

• Sebagai highlighter, mungkin terlihat orange pada kulit yang sangat terang (tapi anda bisa menggunakannya sebagai bronzer)

Secara keseluruhan, menurut kinerjanya, saya bisa katakan ini adalah produk yang bagus. Kalau kamu mencari highlighter yang memberikan kilau sehat alami tanpa terlalu mengkilap, kamu bisa beli produk ini, tapi kalau kamu lebih suka product yang tidak berbau, maka sebaiknya jangan.
